- The Network provides a 24-hour, 365 days a year, emergency telephone number resource for all Texas citizens. If you need assistance, simply dial 1-800-222-1222 for access to a 24-hour toxicology referral service staffed by specially trained physicians, pharmacists, and nurses.

National Poison Prevention Week is March 15–22, 2026.

Poster Contest (Grades 3–5)

Create a bold, colorful poster that teaches your community how to stay safe from poisons and compete for regional and statewide recognition.

Bring poison prevention to life with a 30–90 second video for a chance to win locally and advance to the Texas statewide competition.
